Let's talk "first touch"
This stunning couple, Callie and Zach didn't want to see each other before their ceremony but wanted to spend time with each other beforehand. So, a first touch has been created for couples like this!
How we create this moment is while the bride is getting dressed and the groom is getting his last getting ready photos taken, I, the photographer gets to scout a location for the first touch. I like to choose a corner, a tree or a door, like this photo you see above.
I picked the door because of a few reasons but mainly it was super bright out and and all of the trees had super harsh lighting on them and I did not want the couple to sweat all morning.
It was a beautiful moment, I took a few photos of their reactions and speaking to each other for a few moments then I left the area for their privacy.
I always cry during these moments so I am glad I was away when it was happening.
